How to use BUDO Events™ easily

Essential features

1. Browse events

The calendar displays events in chronological order. Scroll through the dates horizontally to choose the first day to display, then browse the list vertically. Click a listing to view all available information: dates, venue, organizing body, description, disciplines, and external link.

2. Refine the list

The “Filter” button lets you select one or more disciplines, event categories, and countries. Multiple choices within the same group broaden the results; active groups combine with one another. Your filters are saved on your device so you can find your selection on a future visit.

3. Subscribe to a calendar

In the menu, choose “Subscribe to calendar”. You can follow all events or only those of one discipline. The subscribe button opens your calendar app and then keeps the calendar up to date automatically.

4. Create an account

An account is required to submit or manage an event. Enter your identity, email address, country, and a password, then re-enter the code received by email. Optional membership in an organization must be approved by someone who is already a member; until this validation is complete, login remains inactive.

5. Submit an event

After logging in, choose “Add an event” and fill in the requested fields. You can save a private draft, publish a draft visible to everyone, or request public publication. Public submissions are reviewed before final approval. An image can be added, but it is optional.

6. Edit or delete an event

Open the detailed listing. The “Edit” button appears only when your account has the necessary rights. A change intended for the public goes through the approval check again. Deletion must be confirmed and immediately removes the event from the lists without deleting its technical history. When an event is linked to an organization, all validated member accounts can edit or delete it.

7. Understand the displayed statuses

8. Report an event

The “Report” function in the detailed listing lets you alert BUDO Events™ about incorrect information or inappropriate content. It can also be used to claim ownership of an event, request its removal, or provide any other reason requiring review. Please describe your request precisely to make processing easier.

9. Authors’ responsibility

The person who publishes an event remains responsible for the texts, images, links, and information provided. They must ensure their accuracy, have the necessary rights to distribute them, and update them when they change. They also agree not to publish any unlawful, misleading, inappropriate, or third-party rights-infringing content. BUDO Events™ reserves the right to remove any event or account that does not comply with these rules.
